	Description: The thrilling true-life story of how the famous Charleston, SC, church of St. Michael’s was saved from fire by the daring act of a slave. "How He Saved St. Michael's" is a very old tale and the church which the negro slave saved from destruction is said to have been St. Philip's instead of St. Michael's, but the deed was so brave, that the story has lived for over a century, and will continue to live on. A great fire was raging furiously in the city of Charleston, South Carolina. Building after building had been destroyed, and gale winds carried sparks far and wide, spreading the destruction. The lofty spire of St. Philip's Episcopal Church caught fire almost two hundred feet above the ground, in an apparently inaccessible place, and the people in the streets below saw with dismay that one of their city's dearest possessions seemed about to be lost to them. Risking his life a slave managed to save the church; as a reward was promptly given his freedom; and in his free life, he took the name Will Philip Lining. Time Length: 13 minutes 19 Seconds (13:19)

Is the United States an Empire or Democracy? — Why does the United States have millions of sub-citizens deprived the rights of full U.S. citizenship in Puerto Rico, Guam, The U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa and The Northern Mariana Islands — territories it’s held over 100 years? Chinese Slavery and defacto Slavery in the U.S. Mexican-American Reparations — For violations of The Treaty of Hidalgo, signed February 2, 1948, which ended the Mexican American War. The civil rights violations began almost immediately after ratification of the treaty and continue today, over 160 years; and for violations of the U.S. Constitution during the “Mexican Repatriation” (1929-1939), the first U.S. Mexican/Mexican-American ethnic cleansing and “Operation “Wetback” (1954), the second U.S. Mexican/Mexican-American ethnic cleansing. Combined these two programs forced 2.3 million people of Mexican heritage in the U.S. out of the U.S. to live in Mexico, 60% of which were U.S. citizens. And More . . .
